New Arrivals from HOPE and WWAKE
Now in for the fall winter season, we have a selection of tights and thigh high socks from Hansel from Basel.
Hailing from New York City, All for the Mountain is all about fantasy-inspired pieces. Each piece is created by artist/sculptor/musician Carly Margolis, (formerly of Cavern Wallpaper fame). Margolis hand-carves each adornment in wax and casts them in silver, bronze, and other precious metals.
Our fingers are currently adorned with the drip crown and silica rings. We’ve been wearing them in multiples!
Jewelery for the body. Check out our display cases for new Bliss Lau pieces, she is constantly re-inventing how we wear jewelery.
Gothic inspired pieces with a feminine twist are LA based designer, Annie Costello Brown’s speciality. Brown is a northern Californian native who studied fine art and sculpture. It is this training, that makes her work so unique and coveted by us. Her work has grabbed the attention of Stefano Pilati, which lead to a collaboration on YSL’s Edition 24 line.
Fawn is pleased to announced that we have added Michelle Ross jewellery to our growing collection of jewellery.
Toronto-born designer, Michelle Ross, fuses atypical design with nostalgic sensibility to create her collection of contemporary jewellery. Adorning a faithful following since 2003, Michelle uses semi-precious stones and metals juxtaposed with glass, ceramics and vintage findings to produce each unique piece.
Michelle’s study of textiles at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University honed her innate eye for detail and keen sense of style. In 2007, Michelle moved to London, England where her studies at the prestigious London College of Fashion brought her to intern for luxury fashion label, Erdem. Bringing her diverse background and experience into her own work, Michelle launched her debut womenswear collection in London, effortlessly blurring the line between clothing and jewellery. Michelle returns to Toronto to pursue her love of crafting handmade jewellery that reflects her truly distinct perspective. Michelle Ross Jewellery is the fine balance of elegance and unpredictability.
Clyde is a small, slow knitwear project. All pieces are made and felted by hand, from the highest quality natural fibers in small batches. Each is also unique, with the attendant variations that come from items made by hands. The element that allows the existence of the fleeting paradigm of “the more they’re worn, the better they look.”
Hailed as the best newcomers in years, it is no wonder that Chloé Comme Parris is the pride of the Toronto fashion scene. Designing partners and sisters, Chloé and Parris Gordon, are under 25 and barely out of school but have been the ‘ones to watch’ since 2009 when their label launched.
We are very excited to be carrying their A/W 2011 jewellery line. The pieces are designed by Parris who interned with Pamela Love in NYC. Want to know more about the sisters? Click here.
